September 12th is National Day of Encouragement. Sounds like another holiday dreamed up to sell greeting cards, right? But stick with me for a second.
Look at your week so far. You’re probably running on fumes, staring down a to-do list that never actually ends, wondering why you feel stuck even when you’re working constantly. You trade sleep or personal time just to stay afloat at work, and somewhere in the middle of all that noise, you lose sight of what you actually wanted to build.
That’s where most people stall out. Not because they lack drive, but because white-knuckling your way through burnout alone is a losing strategy.
Real encouragement isn’t a superficial pat on the back. It’s fuel.
As a Life Mastery Consultant, I see this shift every day. People don’t fail because their goals are too big; they get stuck operating in a vacuum of self-doubt. Having someone in your corner—someone holding the vision for your life when you’re too exhausted to see it—changes the entire game.
That’s what real coaching comes down to. Unwavering support paired with high-level perspective. Whether that happens in a 1:1 space or inside a group program where everyone is pushing toward growth together, knowing you aren’t doing this alone lets you finally stop fighting yourself and let it be easier.
So for National Day of Encouragement, skip the generic social media graphics. Try something that actually shifts your momentum:
- Cut yourself some slack. Notice how you talk to yourself today. You’re likely holding yourself to an impossible standard you’d never expect from anyone else.
- Send one random text. Think of someone in your circle who’s in the trenches right now and tell them you notice their work. Takes ten seconds, means everything.
- Admit you need support. Carrying everything by yourself isn’t a badge of honor. Reach out to a mentor, a friend, or a coach.
You don’t have to keep living the same exhausting year on repeat.
